December 2015 Za Limited Edition Foundation Set

I am blogging about the new Za foundation limited edition set I got on the 19/12/15 I have used the cleansing oil and it is really effective in removing make up.

I apply two pumps to my dried up cleansing wipes and it works well. I also like the Za perfect solution cleansing foam it is thick and creamy and can really cleanse the face thoroughly.
I just need to apply a pea size amount to cleanse the whole face. I also like the case which was designed by Kayo Horaguchi. The butterfly design is really chic!

That's all from me.

I finished the look with red lipstick. You can make it more dramatic by adding in your choice of false lashes :)

Make up used:
Nyx Runway Palette in Strike A Pose
Silky Girl Moisture Rich Lipstick in Vamp
Daiso brow pencil in brown
Clio Sharp So Simple Waterproof Penliner in  Black
Kate Mineral Foundation

I Wish For A Flatter Stomach

21/4/15

So unknown to most people except close friends I gained about 10kg unknowingly during the space of more than 6 months from like June 2013 to 27 Nov 2014.
There below are completely unphotoshopped pictures. The first photo was taken in 12 April 2013 I was 55 kg.

I know I look ridiculously skinny in this photo but I had a high metabolism rate and at a job that required lots of energy.
The second picture was taken on 1 September 2013 I had noticeably gained more weight. My weight gain could have been triggered by a metabolism rate that was slowing down as I grew older and also because I made a job switch from being an educator to being a student. My activity level dropped drastically from my instagram feed and also daily snapshots of my life during April 2013 to 3 September 2014 you can tell I mainly did manicures, pedicures and occasionally visited parks.
This was taken 24 Dec 2013 its not a bad photo but you can see my paunch and I just wanted a flatter stomach.
And in this photo taken on 3 September 2014 at that time I weighed 65kg.
The weight was mainly concentrated on my hips thighs and stomach area.

So I started my journey to become healthier and lose my tummy fat. I had not worn a bikini for more than 6 months because of my weight gain on my tummy area. The last time I wore it was on 29 May 2014.

So I decided to go on the myfitnesspal app on 27 November 2014 after recommendation from a good friend.
Now my weight is 61kg I have lost about 4kg in the space of about 5 months. Myfitnesspal recommended that I be on the 1300 calorie per day diet. Most of the exercise I did was running and swimming. In addition I went on the 30 day challenge.
So this has been mainly my exercise routine. I also used the old version of Fitness Blender app to do some exercises. You can check out their videos and their latest app. And on top of that I was eating out with friends which you can see my instagram feed again. Not the healthiest choices but I was not prepared to sacrifice my love for food just to lose a couple of kilos. I keyed in my meals regularly for about 2-3months than I started slacking off because by than you can tell roughly how much your calories are just by the foods you normally eat.

Foods I normally ate were:
Wanton Mee - 407 calories
Mos Burger (Fish) - 407 calories
Subway 6 inch either cold cut or ham - 360 calories (cold cut) and 269 calories (ham)

So anyway here is my weight lost diary:
27 November 2014 - 65kg
2 December 2014 - 64kg
7 December 2014 - 65kg
19 December 2014 - 64kg
13 February 2015 - 63kg
11 March 2015 - 62kg
20 April 2015 - 61kg

So anyway you can see that although the beginning part of the weight lost programme took longer and the weight fluctuated a bit the rest of the time weight just dropped rather systematically 1kg each month.

I am not trying to say that all people who try this method to lose weight will have same results. I am just sharing with you my weight loss journey.

I am not aiming to be stick thin either just want to lose the tummy fat. That's ALL.

So anyway here is some pictures of before I have eaten and after. I have taken this photos because I don't have actual pictures from when I was 65kg showing just my stomach so this is just an approximation of how large my stomach was when I weighed 65kg. (Note: if this is how big my stomach can get after eating when I weigh 62kg at that time photo was taken you can only guess how big it was when it was when I was 65kg!). The after picture is when I was weighing 61kg about 2 hours had passed after eating breakfast.

I guess to lose tummy fat you just have to be persevering and do give myfitnesspal a try!

So stay healthy and exercise well!

What's In My Bag Tag

Wanted to do a video just for fun. What's in my bag tag. Basically I got this bag from H&M and here is me just talking about what I like to carry around with me. Click the image below to watch the video :)
I enjoy carrying a variety of lipsticks with me to transform a day time look into a night time appropriate look. Carrying a red lipstick is a must for me and I also like to switch up lip colours from time to time.

I also like spacious bags with a strap that can be easily placed on the shoulder.

I had on some lipstick from Silky Girl Moisture Rich range I think it was Vamp or Inspiration I cannot quite remember.

Anyway this look is super natural you can add any kind of lip colour to match this look either digitally or manually. It is up to you :)

19 October 2015 Skin Care Routine

So today I did a real quick video on my skincare routine basically it consists of couple of products and also I did the video without adding any foundation or any kind of lotion to my face it was au naturale.
Not included in the video are my facial foam and facial scrubs which are Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Polishing Mask Charcoal and Black Sugar and the Garnier Skin Naturals Duo Clean Whitening and Pore Minimizing Duo Foam with black rice and white rice extract. Both products can be found at Watsons although the Freeman one I bought ages ago from Malaysia. It is self heating and really makes my skin super smooth I like that it has natural exfoliation rather than micro beads that can pollute the ocean as it is not exactly biodegradable.

Apart from these I pretty use all the products in the following order:

ZA Totale Hydration Rich Lucent Lotion
Loreal Paris Youth Code Boosting Essence
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Aqua Label White Up Emulsion S
Sunsense Daily Face SPF 50+ Invisible Tint Finish
Clarins Day Emulsion SPF 20
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

I like to massage the product such as moisturiser and essence into the face. Rather than to simply spread it in. I find that it helps with absorbing the product in better. I also like non-sticky type of sunblocks. The Sunsense one is quite good but it can be a tad greasy at times so applying about a pea-size amount is good enough for just the face. The Clarins one tends to be a bit sticky but it has a milky consistency and blends really easily which makes for fuss free application. I heard Shiseido has a good sunblock but I have yet to try it out.

My hair dye is Beautylabo Creamy Ash from Hoyu and my nail polish is OPI Curry Up Don't Be Late and Laneige Sparkling Glitter Nail Polish in Golden Bubble.

That's all from me today.

Dating And Being Single

21 July 2015

Here is my take on dating and being single. These are my own opinions if you don't agree it is okay. Just wanted to put my thoughts on the matter up.

-It's okay to be single don't have to conform to societal expectations that you MUST be attached.

-Don't settle for anything less don't feel that you have to lower your standards for anyone.

-Do not accept disrespect from anyone does not matter if he drop dead gorgeous if he disrespects you don't have to accept it you can always have the option to leave.

-Be unafraid to be yourself being real is important don't need to feel you have to change yourself to please anyone.

-You don't have to please anyone or fit into a mould to please anyone like I said be yourself.

-Do not apologise for the decisions you made to date someone or to remain single. It's nobody's business you don't have to share what goes on in your relationship with others don't feel the pressure to share it's nobody's business.

-You should not be pressured into being in a relationship with someone don't do it because you felt you had no choice. There is always a choice in life.

-Don't get desperate it is not attractive.

-Explore feel the need to grow as a person and to be open to new people in your life don't just date the stereotypical Disney Prince type of guy. Be open to new people.

-Set achievable standards for yourself and your dating partner. Definitely don't have to change your partner to suit you but rather grow together as a couple.

-If you don't value yourself how will others value you. If you devalue yourself and lack confidence know that the guy chose you out of so many people. Own it and don't feel like you don't deserve it.

-Be authentic if they cannot accept you at your worse they do not deserve you at your best. I am not saying you have to start swearing and being all drama mama simply means you can express your negative emotions not just your positive ones with your partner. Everyone has ups and downs in life.

That's all from me today have a happy day.

Shopping For Topshop on Zalora

I have been sharing many various clothings from Zalora. Both by Zalora and by other retailers. This post will be focusing on Topshop Singapore. There are various pieces on the website I would like to pick out my favourite pieces.
Starting with the Fluted Sleeve Lace Dress it has gorgeous flutter sleeves and a lovely white lace pattern. This would be perfect for a date or a day out with friends cafe hopping.

Retails at SGD89.90
From the zoom in effect you can see the details and intricate patterns on the dress it is feminine and shows off a bit of skin without being too sexy. White also gives an innocent appeal.
Next piece is the Blue Denim Mom Shorts this shorts can be worn with anything I personally have a similar piece in a darker shade. The rough edges of the shorts gives it a rugged appeal.

Retails at SGD63.90
This other piece is another which I like because it is versatile and can be paired with any looks you can throw on a casual look and still be professional looking with this Boyfriend Blazer.

Retails at SGD139
I am also a fann of jumpsuits. This Diagional Stripe Jumpsuit is another piece which can be worn on lazy days when you cannot think of what to wear. The stripes gives it a interesting effect that is different from most jumpsuits it can also create the optical illusion of someone being taller.

The low back detail keeps the look fresh and gives an unexpected appeal to the outfit. You can pair it with a cardigan or a leather jacket it is up to you.

Retails at SGD96.90

This next piece has one of my favourite prints the leopard print. If you are not into bold safari prints you can try this shoe for a change. It can be integrated into your wardrobe without overpowering your outfit. Having shoes with a variety of prints can elevate your whole outfit. Villa Bow Pointed Flats

Retails at SGD39.90

Interested to see more from Zalora?

That's all from me today. Have a great week ahead people!
