I have always loved to read fashion blogs. Especially those with street photography as in randomly shot images of people wearing nice looking outfits.

I am never quite sure where to place all these images except save it in my retina memory.

So today I thought of putting some here. I have been stuck on Vanessa Jackman today.

that is the image that started it all. I am totally into crisp shirts in white, navy and denim throwing it over everything, boho/tribal/psychedelic prints, nude nothing shades, bright pops of color, strong silhouettes, black everything, leather and chains.

come to think of it my sense of what looks nice has changed quite alot but than again maybe not that much...

lying competitions

This is a lying competition I saw on niotillfem and it is all in Swedish. So just run it through the Google Translator. It is so so fabulous!

Basically it is just taking a photo of yourself and an object and lying about what that object and yourself have to do with each other!

Awesome!

Here are some extracts that I am sharing with you.

Maia . This is my magic wand, that I use to do magical things! Just like Harry Potter! I tend to fight big nasty troll in the woods and magic of my room to make it clean for I'm too lazy to do it yourself!
Emma. I am wearing my helmet, which is my best instrument in the fight to save Sweden's mermaids. I got the tooth mice instead of a guldtia, when I lost my last baby tooth. Apparently the interior is full of tiny electrodes that capture every thought that is thought of a mermaid. It is amazingly handy to keep track of where they intend to swim next.
Sam. Me and my little brother. He crossed my mom for the last time after this. There are no empty Threats at my house!
Jenny . This is Sakura, she is a glowing circus director and has taught me walk the tightrope and juggle with tiny shrimp. Sometimes she invites to tea when she feels that things are going well and then you all take part.
Sophie. My coffee cup and me. It once lived in a dollhouse, but one day put some thunder honey in it instead of coffee. The result was as you see, it was strong and grew, fell in love with the contact with my lips. Adult cup.
Moa . This is me and my husband. We have been married for four years, and we have 14 children together. We have everything a married couple should have, volvo, dog, house and children. We live the finest life together, and kiss, just like in the picture, all the time. I love my husband!
Faz . My name is Faz and I have fairy dust in my hand. Once a week I have fairy training so I shake Fairy Dust Into my mojito and climb Into a cupboard Where The Fairy Army Training ice. Sometimes after training all of us fairies climb Into a hot tub and get very, very drunk.
Milla. This Is Elvis, I had to rescue HIM from being shipped to the Moon. But for me to do that I had to make heaven Into Something Else so thats it would go unnoticed. So I Borrowed my Fairy Godmothers wand and "Bibbedi Bobbedi Boo" there he was, around my neck looking fabulous!
Cornelia . this is me and my secret friend "smoke-a-lot" which I bought in Istanbul when I was there in transit during my interrail 1978-1985. because I did not manage to put a cigarette in his mouth so I bought him which was one of the best things I have done when he acts like a cigarette, clean aesthetic that is. He always helps me to take nice photographs when required smoke and he does so always with flying colors.

Glitter like Gold this Christmas!

Glitter is something I have always loved. I bought different types of glitter over the years but it only recently when I decided to do a make up tutorial on it. Since New Year is coming soon and Christmas is just tomorrow *gasp* I decided to post a tutorial on a very sparkly magical glittery look. Sure to make everyone unable to take their eyes of you on that special occasion!

You do not need alot of tools to create this look just need lots of patience and scotch tape (remove excess glitter) so above are the tools used! Not in the video was the golden eye shadow which I would recommend to use as layering over the glitter to even out the goldness of the eyes you can also use as a base than layer the glitter on top. Either way just make sure you have something gold-ish with you.

Tips to Shopping For Christmas

It is a well known fact that I enjoy shopping. ALOT.

I also like getting good deals and having new stuff.

Okay anyway the point is I decided to type out a post because I have been feeling guilty on the lack of words there are the posts I have been putting up.

Than why don't you type more words to go with the post?

The thing is I have this idea that people would rather see photos that read my words. And you know that phrase a photo means a thousand words. Okay a picture not a photo but whatever. Who cares?

Today I am going to at least make this post meaningful and useful not just about how bored I feel or how much I love shopping because I am not really into blogging feelings and stuff (if you have not already noticed haha)

So today's topic is dedumdumdummmmm!!!

Shopping for Christmas Present!

Yes I know its late but better late than never if you have already shopped you can always keep this tips for next year and the next year and the next year for infinity!!!

Tip #1:
Know The Person you are Getting the Present For
This may seem very obvious but it is really very important since giving presents to strangers is not something we all do. So you have to know the person well to get a good gift and have a hope that the person who actually love the gift.

For example take my friend Kelly for instance she love Paris, Eiffel Tower more specifically and Traveling. So I got her something to do with both since she has not received the item yet (no thanks to slow slug snail shipping) I cannot say exactly what the item is as she may read this and spoil surprise. I have already hinted what the present is and she told me most firmly to keep the present for her and not give it to anyone else. So anyway you must know, really know what the person you are getting the present for really likes.

Tip #2:
Don't Buy The Same Gift For Everyone unless it is Generic People
I know it is simpler to just walk into The Body Shop and get the same or similar bath and soap set for everyone. Just don't do it. Can you imagine?

B: Hey Stacy what did Sheila get for you on Christmas?
Stacy: Bath and Soap Set from Body Shop. What about you?
B: The same was it the White Musk set?
Stacy: Yea.

Deng Deng Deng!

Busted. It is worse if they happen to all go and drink coffee together and discuss this matter. So what did ABC get for you on Christmas? Another The Body Shop gift set? I don't think so.

What about Generic People?
Generic people are those nameless and faceless people who are very numerous. So when you get gifts for them it would apply to companies with many head counts like 50 and above and so buying in bulk seems the best option. So get everyone a similar gift. It makes sense.

Tip #3:
Label Your Gifts
Again a very straightforward step but if you are like me who does not have that appreciation for buying different wrapping paper at all times of the year. Yea we may end up wrapping all the gifts in the same wrapping paper. You don't want to mix things up and end up giving a Floral Scented Diary to Eric and a War Craft Game to Alison who loves gaming as much as getting shipwrecked in a desert storm.

Thats about all the stuff I can think of for now may update here when I have more time. Off to get pretty for a session of feasting on Crabs!

Traumatized from Childhood: Lizard in My Cereal!

I am crazy about Lucky Charms!

I am not talking about charm bracelets but cereal! But wouldn't it be nice to have a lucky charm bracelet with all these?
It is not ordinary cereal/cornflakes which is pretty much the same thing repeatedly. Like cocoa crunch (which I also adore I can finish the whole box in 3 days! and has sore throat on day 4 -_-) or Honey Stars (honey dipped stars! hoho!) but Lucky Charms has marshmellow shaped in rainbows and 4 leaf clovers and ice cream shapes all together with whole grains for healthy breakfast. Okay I cheat I just eat the whole thing like that I don't pour it in milk like the traditional way of eating cereal because I am lazy to go out and buy milk instead if I really feel guilty and my throat is itchy from eating it dry I shall just pour it in my chocolate milk. Chocolate milk and milk is two different things.

I don't just love it because of the various colored marshmellow bits but I loved it simply because of a childhood incident. It makes me feel like I won lottery when I found this box of Lucky Charms at Marketplace, ION.

You see when I was a kid I saw Lucky Charms (that time it had a wizard) I was like: "I want I want I want!" and my parents being adoring and loving me like crazy agreed. So I brought the box back home happy as a happy kid can be. I decided I wanted to eat it for supper so my dad got the milk ready and I poured it in a bowl and ate the cereal. Than I went to bed.

The next day I was excited because I remembered how fantastic the cereal was and wanted it for breakfast too. I hopped to the kitchen to find my dad standing and frowning at my box of Lucky Charms. I was like: "I want I want I want for breakfast!"

And my dad was like: "No I don't think you can."

I was like 0_O supper can but breakfast can not? Makes no sense.

So I went up to him and looked in the box and LO AND BEHOLD I saw an image which would make most kids swear off Lucky Charms FOREVER.

A FAT LIZARD SAT AMONG THE RAINBOW COLORED MARSHMELLOWS AND WHOLE GRAINS!

I was feeling shocked and pissed how dare HE (Lizards were all male to me when I was a kid) eat my cereal when it was my first time eating it and how dare HE do it when I was sleeping! (completely irrelevant point since HE could eat it anyway whether I was sleeping or not sleeping)

At this point my dad was taking the box of cereal: "You can't eat this anymore."

I was like: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

He walked towards the rubbish chute.

I was like: "Can't we just take the lizard out and than eat the cereal."

My dad gave me a firm look and said: "It is CONTAMINATED."

The box of cereal lizard and all was than unceremoniously thrown into the rubbish chute.

The lizard must have died a happy death and gone to marshmellow heaven.

I on the other hand felt emotionally traumatized. To this day I still get heart palpitations when I see a box of Lucky Charms. I suspect I shall still feel this way when I am 81 so if I have heart conditions (*knock wood*) as an 81 year old woman I would have to stay away from Lucky Charms. Can you imagine? An old lady hobbling into Marketplace sees Lucky Charms smiles rather alarmingly, clutches heart and collapses to the ground. A box of Lucky Charms lying but her side. Death by Lucky Charms.

Thank God I have only ever seen it at atas Marketplace in ION apparently rich people like Lucky Charms too or rather rich people's kids.

Work Outs for People who Hate Working Out in Public

Are you the type of person who feels stressed and insecure when working out with others in public? No matter how you stretch you just cannot seem to get it right. The instructor has to correct you repeatedly.

When you were in school were you uncoordinated and awkward in gym while your peers sailed through with the ease of a natural born athlete?

Let's just face it. Sometimes working out in public can be a major pain. Your lack of athletic prowess is visible to every Tom, Dick and Harry which would be fine if you like that kind of attention and hog the treadmill machine overlooking the main road in broad daylight at your public gym located right smack in the city. If you are that person than this article is not for you. You may want to check out my making it wearable series where I post mainly loud bold attention grabbing stuff and making it wearable or just simply making something wearable.

For those who remain carry on reading ;)

I decided to write this article because I only know too well how embarrassing working out in public can be. I was the kid nobody wanted on their team during sports class. (if you don't care why i started writing this article and just want to start getting active scroll to the bottom)

In school sports was about being alert and sharp and quick and knowing when to kick balls or hit balls or throw balls in games I hardly had any interest in. It was about winning medals and recognition for being able to hold a painful position for a certain length of time or leap a certain distance. It was about meeting the national fitness criteria.

At 12 years of age this meant very little to me when my hips were getting wider my chest sadly, did not seem very motivated to do much and I was starting to notice boys alot more. In other words that hideous word puberty was happening.

It affected my self-esteem and I abhorred sports class it was a period for self-inflicted humiliation. I was not training to become an Olympic athlete. Why should I feel small just because I was simply not good at sports like my peers?

My torture for the next four years of my life continued until I went to Polytechnic and thank God no more sports, no more feelings of embarrassment when I failed to score a goal because I threw a ball and it hit someone.

The downside during the first year of no more Sports Class I noticed I was eating ALOT in between classes and during breaks and after classes. I would go down extra early to grab the chicken wings before it was sold out and I drank vast quantities of bubble tea. It was not surprising I began to feel rather flabby and unhealthy. I also fell ill more often. I had to admit as much as I hated sports it had good benefits. So what kind of sports could I do which would not make me want to hide in a hole and hide?

My solution: Try everything.

Since the normal routes others were taking such as swimming (I cannot swim), basketball, captain’s ball, volley ball (basically any sort of ball games I suck at it caused me humiliation) the only ball game I can reasonably play well is hockey because it involves hitting a ball with a stick. I am also good at archery I love shooting arrows.

I decided to follow my own path. I shall create my own exercise regime, which I can do at my own pace whenever I want. Nobody would make me feel small again because I could not catch up, was not better than others or simply not interested in it. TV, Books and Youtube were fantastic gold mines for that.

I got into yoga and can do Salute to the Sun from memory I am currently in the intermediate stage. I also love Shiva Rea’s core work out from Youtube. It is so fun to do it is like being on a rocking horse!

I also did free style dance for a period of time moved into belly dance (I bought a full range of belly dance CDs from beginners to intermediate).

When I started working I got money so I signed up for a 1 year gym membership. Working out at the public gym was better as it was small and there were no windows. But it was hard to drag myself down after a long day after work. I also felt insecure about working out in a place where others could watch what I was doing or not able to do.

But I liked the muscles I got from working out and I like feeling that high after a good work out.

When my membership came to an end. I had to find a new way to exercise. I decided not in public but at home. The answer was to go back to the work outs I did during my polytechnic years.

I dug out my old yoga book and went to search Youtube. I realized I was more into aerobics style of dance mixed with erotic, exotic dance. I love PUMP IT UP! It the perfect combination for me just when I get bored the routine changes!

The Japanese magazines I loved occasionally had dance/exercise routines I loved doing these. It is cheesy but so so fun! When done repeatedly you can really work up a sweat!

Find a type of physical activity you really love and make it into your exercise routine! No pressure just follow how it makes you feel! Most of my exercises involve comfortable clothes, a mat to prance on and great music! Have fun!

Remember even if you can't score straight goals or do 20 push ups without stopping you are still beautiful! And you deserve to stay fit on your own terms.

Useful Tips for Selling at Flea Markets + Sights at Marina Barrage

In August I planned and carried out my second flea market sale with my good friend, Kelly.

I know it has been a long time coming and we are already in OCTOBER (the end of it actually) how time flies!Truthfully speaking the sales were not as good as my first time but we still managed to cover the cost of rental for the booth.

Doing this twice has taught me a few things about it.

Location and Timing is key when doing a flea
The crowds only came in towards the later part of the day and we should have had the flea in tandem with the National Day event that was to be held there. We held the flea one day earlier than the National Day event thus less crowds the rainy weather made it even lesser crowds -_-

Make Sure You are Comfortable
Having a portable fan around and anything cold on a hot day is important. Make sure you dress comfortably as well. You will be less likely to snap and snarl when there is low level of sales and low level of patience to clear your stuff. Make yourself at home it is your stall and you are the boss.
Be Entertained and Entertaining
Luckily I had a good friend to chat with when it got boring. When your jaw aches from talking too much or laughing too hard bring on the portable game machine and music. When all else fails just simply snap some photos. Be your own PhotoBooth. Remember never get too grouchy even when your buddy gets more sales than you or vice versa it is not a competition it is just clearing space for new stuff in your wardrobe.

Third Try! Why I look so SLEEPPY???!!!Forth Try! PASSED!! WOOOHOOOO!

Display it Proudly!
Get a rack to hang your wares! 90% of the sales come from racks! People just adore flipping through clothing on racks even if it is a flea sale and not a boutique. I am guilty of this as well some how picking stuff off a table or digging from a bin is less fun than flipping through a rack of ready hung clothes.
Display your prices VISIBLY. Customers want to know up front how much your goods cost. Safe them the hassle of asking or waiting for other customers to finish doing business with you before asking. Make sure you keep your store front tidy as well and keep updating the stuff you have in your "good bargains bag" especially when you have cleared a substantial quantity of stuff from there.

Be BOLD and COLORFUL make sure your stall really stands out from the rest putting any kind of reflective surface (Love Bonito Shiny Bags) and brightly colored clothing at the front will help grab people's attention.Okay that's it for some tips on Flea Markets now for some sights of Marina Barrage. Making it Wearable - Loud, Bold, Maxi Skirts / H&M Tank Top Review

Ever bought a gorgeous bold print skirt and realized you do not have any top to go with it?

I have faced the same problem but I find that matching bold prints with basics like a tank top can never go wrong.

I visited H&M and I LOVE it! The basics such as tank tops, t-shirts and long sleeves tops are very affordable. Quality is awesome too. I got each of these tank tops for $7.90!

The material is super comfortable and great for Singapore weather.

The best thing is that I can finally stop having a headache over what to match with my maxi skirts and trust me it can be tricky especially when my maxi skirts are in these prints and colors...

I also find these tanks great for layering with my low cut mini dress.

Making it Wearable - Electric Blue Eyeliner

I have always loved to make loud statement making trends wearable for everyday be it, bright colors, crazy eyeliner shades and unusual color combinations.

Along the way there could be blunders but we all learn best through experience. So join me as I take you through a new series of Making It Wearable...

Featuring an Electric Blue Eyeliner by Rimmel
Basically what I did was to use neutral shades black, brown, greys to tone down the bright blue shade. The rest of my face make up was kept muted with skin toned blusher and subtle contouring.

I like that the blue still stands out but it is still suited for the streets and will not make you like look like a street performer.

If you want more dramatic look you can pile on glitter, false lashes and even put in more color in the lips and cheeks. It is completely up to you. As I still wanted to go out and pick up some stuff from the shopping centre near my house I did not want so dramatic a look.

Mary Kate / Ashley Olsen inspired hair

I promised in my hair inspiration post (remember the pink hair?) so here is the Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen inspired hair which is really simple to make. It is a grungy kind of look so it is best if your hair has not been washed for 2-3 days. If you cannot stand having unwashed hair you can always use dry shampoo to freshen up.

First get a center part in your hair (Tip: plan in advance before doing this hair style. you can achieve a center part by securing bobby pins and leaving it overnight or after washing hair center part it and secure with pins than let the hair dry.)

Next use a flat iron and curl random sections of the hair with no particular order in mind just go with the flow (Tip: click here to learn how to create curls with flat iron) than using a Toni and Guy Volume product I added it to the roots for more boost of volume. I used Lucido-L wax in souffle for texture and scrunch the hair for that loose wave look. Finish off with light coat of hair spray I am using a Daiso one in blue color. Heat protection on hair is important before curling/straightening so I used corioliss leave in protection mist.

The weekend is coming give the look a spin and see what you come up with ;)

Newlook + Pedal Works Haul 2011

I seldom splurge on fashion usually I am all about finding good deals but when it comes to shoes I have scarcely any choice thanks to my large size feet it is almost impossible to find good quality cheap shoes that fit me.

I don't like the hassle of custom made shoes since I cannot make up my mind what kind of styles I would like best a wedge, stiletto, mid-heels, kitten heel???

What about buying online? What? rob myself of the magic that comes when you see a shoes you like on a shelf in a store and try it on and it fits...Don't get me wrong I am huge livejournal/blogshop/gmarket buyer but when it comes to shoes I always prefer holding the thing in my hands and putting it on my feet.

In my 20 odd years on Earth there are only two stores I have found that stock up shoes ready to wear in my size. Newlook and Pedal Works :) Total damage added up to over SGD100 for four pairs of shoes but the awesome feeling of finding the perfect shoes is priceless!

These Pedal Works wedges with weave detailing are comfortable and and gorgeous! I put it on the minute I could after purchasing it at the store!

I just came back from a real express visit to Malacca (4-5 hours journey back and forth photos to come)

And here is an express post of my trip to Batam (also express trip)

Photos are not in any particular order just enjoy I promise to post up and possibly arrange them in chronological order once I can squeeze in more time to blog. I have been working at work projects thus I can only squeeze in time for express blog post. Forgive me.

Okay as promised I am going to do a proper travel post.

First off I have never been to Batam before I had a vision that it would be sandy white beaches and nice clear sea a la Mauritius style resort setting alas. I was in for a surprise by a rude awakening (I was talk about that later).

To board the boat to Batam for all noobs (like me) you got to go to Vivo technically Harbourfront Ferry Terminal but Vivo is more prominent so if you ask any Singaporean around where the heck is Harbourfront Ferry Terminal most likely they would reply:"Its at Harbourfront lah (-_-") near Vivo lah!"

So after getting to Harbourfront Ferry Terminal than after hustling with lots of aunties, families with screaming kids and amorous couples you will finally be able to get through the customs and get on your boat. Which looks like this (see below)

Must take photo! Okay the ferry ride was pretty uneventful until we neared Batam and I saw this huge ominous looking black cloud above the island. Hey what happened to sunny skies?

NOOOOO! Goodbye visions of lolling on white sand and ~~skinny~~ dipping inside the pool!

My first sight of Batam Beach covered in torrential rain! GAHHHHH!

The TRAAAGGGGEEEEDDDYYYY! Oh well we are on vacation got to make the best of it and SMILEEE!

Batam has its own "Hollywood" signboard a picture taken during our City Tour but I don't know how come this photo jump here. Oh well.

Off to the immigration and to Holiday Inn, Batam where we stayed! Awesome resort!

And nicely ends with a sparkly tub! Cozy, clean and comfortable! The accommodations gets mega points with me!

Since it was raining we decided to do spa! Instead of getting wet on the beach :(

This is where we had the spa experience. It was AWESOMMMEE!

This is the final day! Off to City Tour but got to wait first for Tour Guide.

The City Tour had a couple of unfortunate events that occurred including someone losing their handphone at the kelong restaurant and a group of women who did not know they had to take out their luggage from the hotel as we would immediately board the ferry after the City Tour ended.

Delays Delays Delays.

In the end very little time was left for shopping I shall show you the buys I got later.

Fashion inspired by Videos

I really love the styling in these videos. Super gorgeous and Katy Perry's one is so fun! Enjoy!

I like to dress up inspired by videos that I have watched. Be it eye liner, an eye shadow color or a relaxed slouchy top I saw a singer wear in a video.

California King Bed - Rihanna

Gorgeous colors. Natural make up on Rihanna and nice crisp white cotton. Perfect for summer. A gigantic bed covered in white sheets! I love many Rihanna videos but I decided to just pick this one for variety.

1+1 - Beyonce

Beyonce another one of my favorites stylistically she is classy and modern at the same time. She is a true show woman and watching her in video is always a treat. The make up again here is quite natural and there is this neutral tones to the clothing at the beginning of the video.

Last Friday Night - Katy Perry

The 1980s! Neon colors, bright bright make up colors! I have that similar shade of fuchsia lip color Katy Perry wears in the video and bright blue eye shadow! Incredibly fun!

Only Exception - Paramore

I know stylistically this video is not that much of a stand out but I liked the scene with all those valentine cards strewn on the floor and Hayley Williams lying down on top of it :) The bright red hair also scores points with me I love red :D

You Lost Me - Christina Aguilera

I think style wise there is this theme here emerging with Beyonce and Rihanna video, that natural kind of make up and simple clothings. It goes with that type of song the singer is singing but it also makes the style very wearable for the viewer (like me and you) which I LIKE.

Funhouse - P!nk

Biker chic! I like tough leather jackets and I am partial to motorbikes. Jumping around in a burning house with crazy clowns what's not to like. P!nk's clothes in the video are not quite wearable for everyday but I can always pull elements of it white, leather jacket, buckles, spikes etc and make it my own.

Alice In Wonderland (Underground) - Avril Lavigne

A bit of gothic element, princess and fantasy elements. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is always hard for me to turn down anything with that princessy feel to it. Be it poofy dresses, pink icing cupcakes, chiffon, tiara and lace. Having a gothic element black dress, corset, heavy eyeliner makes it a double kill for me. Yes I love Tim Burton he successfully merges this two elements together princess and gothic styles :D Avril Lavigne also embodies these two qualities as well which makes her my ultimate favorite singer since high school!

You belong with me - Taylor Swift

I am a sucker for that whole nerdy girl turns gorgeous babe video (did you see Katy Perry's video?) its the story of my life. Hehe. It is just so fun to watch and again the fashions in this video is super wearable :D

Brow woes!

I bleached my hair again haha as you can see its kind of lighter now. The tricky thing was to try and match my eyebrows to my new hair color without bleaching my eye brows. So here is the picture of my naked eyebrows.
I tried my usual eyebrow pencil from Daiso. The color I chose was the light brown shade.

Total cost: $2
Still eyebrows were too dark for my liking.

The second product I used was Kate eyebrow gel. It does not come with a brush so I just used an old gel eyeliner brush.

Total cost: $18
Consistency is rather creamy but fast drying so it will not smear and stain your skin around the eye brow area. I applied some compact powder to the eyebrows to further lighten it.
It lightened the hairs some what but it was after many coats of eyebrow gel and a layer of compact powder :( Disappointed but found that it works well for contouring nose :)

The last product I got was from an obscure shop and an obscure brand called Mio Piccolo by dobest cosmetics.

I got the lightest shade in LB or Light Brown!

Total cost: $8.90
Lightens up the brows with just one coat! Fuss free application just have to be careful not to apply too thick a coat if not it could look un-natural.Happy with the result.

I can have fake bleach eyebrows! Go give it a try! I am still finding alternative places to buy this product. I bought my bottle from Golden Village Yishun, Beauty Supply store right next to Wendy's.

Here is the comparison photos side by side. Ya I know the Kate Eyebrow Gel one may look better but that was after many many many coats of the gel and on top of that pressed compact powder! The Mio Piccolo one is more natural looking and I only used one coat to sweep through the brows!
The photos of the brows were all taken indoors here is a picture of how my brows look like in natural (outdoor) lighting. I am using the Mio Piccolo one and as you can see it appears lighter than in the comparison photo above and also it is very natural looking.In case you are wondering where I took that picture well it was on a balcony of Batam, Holiday Inn Resort. More photos to come so stay tune for that.

I hope this post is helpful for people who have lightened their hair and are looking for alternatives to match hair color to brows.

This highwaist shorts is like a real challenge to put on as you have to suck in your stomach to button up the shorts. It is always a battle putting it on. But when it is on it looks great!
I love the dark denim with black there is something very basic about the two but it looks timeless and will never go out of style. When in doubt just go with a black T-shirt it will never go wrong :)

March Trip to KL + Genting

I went on a short trip to Genting and KL, Malaysia

Painted my nails silver! After a long journey where I had lots of shut eye we arrived up on Genting.

Our comfortable accommodation :D
After walking a bit we headed to the cinema to watch a movie which was not fantastic it was some Chinese movie about three men having extramarital affairs with other women until their wives found out forgot the title.

The next day.

I threw on this sparkly Love Bonito cropped top to add some color to my pretty basic outfit of jeans and white camisole. Ribbon necklace you may remember it is from my Adelaide trip :D

My make up is pretty basic too haha I am in holiday mode.

Caterpillar ride my mom and I tried later. But first we went to walk around and explore the other hotels.
This one has huge elephant tusks and it is one of the oldest hotel in Genting. There is one more which is oldest still and shut down it is supposedly haunted shall show you pictures later. hehe.

It like got very misty around this time when we took the pictures. Don't know why.

OMG! UPDATE already

OMG! It has been two weeks?! Since my last update. I am soooo sorry my mac book just died a slow death and needs to get some rest so updates have been held back.

I promise that once the mac genius pumps back life into my mac book I shall update with more travel photos (Great wall anyone?) and outfit photos (high waisted denims very tricky to put on but come off pretty easily), oh yes and make up looks make up looks make up looks!

I shall try and get all these together offline work has been piling up as well. If I can I shall share some of my work with you. It is all pretty exciting and fun (psssttt...I get to look at colorful, monster, cartoons, fruits and coloring pencils as part of my work! AWESOMMMEEEE!)

I have also discovered I am quite talented in drawing cartoons. Hmmm...

Dolly eyes kawaii rocks! It makes your eyes totally pop with minimal effort.

Drawing down lower lashes balances up the dramatic lashes on the top and saves the time of sticking lower lashes which may drop off since it is placed below the lash line stronger glue may be required.

Visit to Hort Park

I went to visit Hort Park with a friend to take pictures :)

It was a super hottt day when we went.
Great place to enjoy nature and take photos or to just simply wander around in.
They have this offices here with a colorful mosiac wall. I like this green pool here as it reminds me of a resort.
Neverending stairwell.
Please come visit Green Water Resort. This picture could go on a brochure.
I wanna dive into it haha :D
While we were there we saw the green Taj Mahal LOL
I love the dew on the leaves makes everything look so refreshing! On a hottt day like this I felt like licking the dew right off the leaves.

Luckily for us there was some shelter areas around to shelter us from the sun.

This looks like a great place to take pictures. Look that's my own garden and my house on the hill in the background ;D
Acting atas (singlish slang: high class) only thing missing is my dozen maids and a tall glass of iced tea.

Plenty of gorgeous flowers to snap pictures of with names I cannot pronounce in Latin.

I love the dress I wore in this photos and the Indian Quilted bag I carried with me.

Why don't you go for a nice walk in Hort Park to slow down when work gets too tedious? Leisurely strolls around nature with a good friend can really help you unwind.

FOTD #9 - Cat Eye Winged Look

I am really in to cat eye winged looks, since my naturally round-shaped eyes become more elongated when I add the the cat eye effect at the outer tips. It is a look I absolutely adore!
